Atractylodes, Astragalus, Maitake and Licorice are used as Spleen Qi tonics to guide proper directional movement. Atractylodes with Poria, Plantain, Chamomile, and Citrus resolve dampness, gently stimulate the digestive process, and diffuse stagnation and phlegm. A touch of aromatic and spicy Magnolia bark is added with Maitake to break up and move food stagnation. Chamomile and Ginger relieve nausea and promote appetite. Utilizing the calming properties of Poria, Maitake, and Catnip, the formula also addresses anxiety and stress by soothing the Heart and emolliating the Liver.
